County Archives

The County Records Program maintains archival records for use by county agencies and public researchers. Archival records are records that have been identified for permanent retention on agency records retention schedules, records that are included on the Multnomah County Historical Records Inventory, or records that were created in 1920 or earlier.

Research Rules

The following information may assist you in your research. The County Records Program currently does not charge fees for copies or staff assistance. For extensive copying or assistance needs, please contact the County Records Program.
