Family Resource Centers

Overview: Family Resource Centers (FRC) provide information and resources. Staff work with community partners to bring programs to local schools & communities, and to bring in needed resources that help increase school success.

One example is the North Portland Resource Team, which provides the community with up-to-date resource information and an annual school readiness fair.

Services: FRC's are primarily used by students, school staff, and families. Staff may be located at school site, but may help develop programs and projects that support students and families outside of school.
